About Mount Hood Farmers Market
The Mount Hood Farmers Market sets up in the middle of Sandy every Friday afternoon from May through October, next to AntFarm Outdoors and Big Apple Market between Proctor and Pioneer Boulevard. Twenty five to fifty vendors come each week with local produce, prepared food, art and craft work, and there is live music most market days. Kids can earn tokens to spend on fruit and vegetables through the Power of Produce program, and the market runs free community workshops on gardening and sustainability. The market accepts SNAP and matches up to $20 a day through Double Up Food Bucks. AntFarm Youth and Family Services, a Sandy nonprofit, has run the market since 2014.
