The Danville Farmers Market runs every Saturday from May through October at the Danville Community Market, the city-owned market house at 629 Craghead Street in the Crossing at the Dan district. In July and August it also opens on Wednesday afternoons. Vendors bring locally grown fruit and vegetables, local beef, chicken, lamb and pork, honey, jams, jellies, salsa and canned goods, homemade baked goods, potted and bedding plants, herbs, cut flowers, and locally made gifts, artwork and jewelry. The market accepts EBT.
