This week is my husband’s fave. Sour cream and sourdough Coffee cake! Little powdered sugar icing drizzle on top. Walnuts and cinnamon sugar balanced with the savory sour cream and sourdough addition. It is so good. Get a slice!
I love the feel of cafés and bakeries in Europe. They somehow taste like they have no calories (lol). So fresh, no weird oils, or “natural flavors”. Just simple, whole ingredients, from pristine soil. Theres a soul that comes in each bite. I wanted that here, so I’ve put my heart into reinventing it in my own kitchen. I love using sourdough to make things a bit healthier and tastier. I import flour from Italy, because I think their flour is the best in the world! After being diagnosed with autoimmune disease, I’ve really focused on limiting things that add to flares and inflammation. It’s why I use all organic, grass-fed, pasture-raised ingredients. I will never use anything that doesn't come from the earth or weird chemicals.
