These are the favorite in my household. My SO is from Sweden, and when I first tried them, I quickly became addicted. They take a full day to make with proving time and cold fermentation. They’re not as heavy and sugary with icing as the American version. They have cinnamon and cardamom, giving it a bit of a citrusy taste with the traditional butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar. I braid them into knots, so the cinnamon sugar is all throughout and they’re fun to pull apart. They’re topped with traditional Swedish pearl sugar. Organic ingredients. They’re so good hot. I love the feel of cafés and bakeries in Europe. They somehow taste like they have no calories (lol). So fresh, no weird oils, or “natural flavors”. I will never use anything that doesn't come from the earth or weird chemicals.
