Welcome to Soooo Doughlicious! Like a lot of good things, our story started in the kitchen... with absolutely no plans of starting a bakery! It began as a fun little baking adventure between a mom and her son-in-law. A little sourdough, a lot of experimenting, and plenty of time spent trying new recipes. Before long, the daughter joined in, bringing even more ideas, flavors, and kitchen experiments to the table. As our little girl started growing, we also found ourselves paying closer attention to what we were feeding our family. We wanted simpler ingredients, more homemade food, and to know exactly what was going into the things we ate. Then came a 40th birthday trip to Ireland, and that's when things really kicked into overdrive! We fell in love with the food, the simplicity of the ingredients, and how different we felt eating there. We came home inspired, with even more motivation to bring that same appreciation for good, homemade food into our own kitchen. And, well... the baking experiments multiplied! Naturally, our family and friends became our very willing taste testers. Before long, we kept hearing the same thing: "You guys seriously need to sell this!" After enough encouragement, we finally thought... Well, why not? And just like that, Soooo Doughlicious was born! Today, we're a husband-and-wife home micro-bakery creating handcrafted sourdough breads, browned butter cookies, and seasonal sweet treats. Everything is made from scratch, in small batches, with thoughtfully chosen ingredients, plenty of creativity, and a whole lot of love. We're not a big commercial bakery, and that's exactly how we like it. We believe good food is worth the extra time, that homemade should taste homemade, and that there's always room for one more kitchen experiment.
