The Purple Mushroom is an indoor urban mushroom farm based in Columbia, South Carolina, founded by Tatrina White. We specialize in cultivating gourmet mushrooms year-round while demonstrating what is possible when agriculture, sustainability, and innovation work together. As an indoor urban farm, The Purple Mushroom uses controlled growing environments to produce specialty mushrooms throughout the year without requiring acres of farmland. Our work combines food production with product development, agricultural education, waste reduction, and soil-focused innovation
