Our Story Gather & Grain was born from a simple belief: the best things in life are made slowly, shared generously, and rooted in faith. What began as a love for baking bread soon became something much greater—a return to the timeless rhythms of homesteading, nourishing our families with wholesome ingredients, and honoring God through the work of our hands. We believe that every loaf tells a story of patience, craftsmanship, and gratitude. Our kitchen is guided by the principles of stewardship, simplicity, and excellence. We carefully choose ingredients that are as close to their natural form as possible because we believe food should nourish both body and soul. Every loaf is handcrafted with intention, allowing time—not shortcuts—to develop the rich flavor, texture, and character that only traditional bread making can provide. The name Gather & Grain reflects the heart of who we are. Gather represents the table where family, friends, and neighbors come together to share meals, celebrate life’s milestones, and create lasting memories. Grain represents the humble beginning of every loaf—a reminder that God often grows extraordinary blessings from the simplest seeds. Our hope is that each loaf we bake brings warmth into your home, encourages meaningful moments around your table, and reminds you of the beauty found in slowing down. Whether it’s a rustic sourdough, a braided challah, or a seasonal specialty, every loaf is made with prayerful care and a commitment to quality. At Gather & Grain, we aren’t simply baking bread—we’re preserving a tradition, cultivating community, and serving others with grateful hearts. It is our prayer that what leaves our oven becomes more than a meal in your home. We hope it becomes part of your family’s story, shared around the table under God’s abundant grace. “Give us this day our daily bread.” — Matthew 6:11
